Introduction |
| Qingyao
Cao was born in a doctor's family in Shandong Province Qingdao
City of China.
He
loved music when he was a little boy and was talented in
it. Even whenhe was young he could play flute, piano,guitar
and many other kinds ofinstruments and was chosen to go
to the band of the whole province.
He became interested in whistling in his twenties and loved
this free form ofexpressing emotions. In the following twenty
years he practiced hard and finallyfind his own way and
style in whistling. |

He produced
his own tapes and CDs in the early 1990s and all those works
were warmly welcorned as soon as they were produced and was
sold very well.
Since then he became the fírst whistler in China and quickly
rose to fame. He was invited to many important performances
, radio stations as well as TV stations,his name soon became
know to millions of people in China. Many famous actors and
actresses admired him a lot, among which Yaowen Hou wrote "
whistle break the sky " to him . |

His whistling
skill is unique in China and even Asia, he can still whistle freely
at extremely high tone without feeling difficult he also developed
his own way of whistling during his years of practice, that
is , whistling during both inspiration and expiration which
can help him whistle continuously for a long time and express
the songs more sincerely.

CCTV(China Central
TV)has just made a program of him about his whistling
career and showed it around the whole country which atttracted
a lot of attention. He himself has just held a whistling
concert of his own in Jun.which turned out to be a great
success. Hundreds of people crowded the big hall. Many
reporters attended the concert too, it was regarded to
be unique and
second to none by the media . |

He is now
a member of an American whistling association: orawhistle, and
may go to the states to attend a musical festival late this
year.
In the hope of improving his skills , Mr. Qingyao Cao is looking
